Ken brings more than 40 years of diverse professional experience to NJPestTraining.com, including more than 30 years working in marketing, research, software development, and information technology.

His involvement with the professional pest management industry began through association management and education. Ken spent three years as Membership Coordinator with the New York Pest Management Association (NYPMA) before serving eight years as a Director of the New Jersey Pest Management Association (NJPMA).

During his time with NJPMA, Ken was involved in a wide range of initiatives, with responsibilities that included building and retaining membership, modernizing the association’s technology, and coordinating continuing education opportunities for pest management professionals.

Today, Ken draws on that combination of business, marketing, technology, association management, and continuing education experience in his work with NJPestTraining.com. His focus is on making professional pesticide training accessible, convenient, well organized, and responsive to the needs of today’s pest management professionals.



That diverse background has helped shape one of the fundamental goals of NJPestTraining.com: use technology to make quality professional education easier to access without sacrificing the personal service and support that attendees deserve.

Mike brings more than 30 years of pest control industry experience to the classroom, combining extensive hands-on knowledge with many years of experience as an instructor.

Anyone who has attended one of Mike’s classes knows that he has his own unique teaching style. He incorporates lighthearted humor, real-world stories, and practical examples into his presentations to keep attendees interested, involved, and engaged.

Let’s face it—some of the material required for pesticide training can be technical and, at times, a little monotonous. Mike understands that keeping people engaged is an important part of helping them learn and retain the information.

With decades of real-world industry experience behind him, Mike doesn’t simply teach from a presentation. He brings the material to life by connecting it to situations pest management professionals encounter every day.



His approach reflects an important part of the philosophy at NJPestTraining.com: pesticide training needs to be informative—but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring.

Cynthia brings more than 40 years of experience in education and educational leadership to NJPestTraining.com. Beginning her career as a kindergarten teacher and eventually serving as a school principal in one of New Jersey’s most prestigious school districts, Cynthia has dedicated her professional life to education, leadership, and helping others learn.

Today, Cynthia applies that experience by advising the NJPestTraining.com team on how to effectively organize, present, and deliver educational material to our class attendees.

While every NJPestTraining.com course must meet the specific content and instructional requirements established by the various state regulatory agencies we serve, Cynthia helps ensure that we never lose sight of something equally important: good teaching.

Her guidance helps us develop courses that are not only compliant with regulatory requirements, but also educationally sound, well organized, engaging, and designed to help attendees understand and retain the material being presented.



Cynthia’s experience reinforces a fundamental part of our philosophy at NJPestTraining.com: meeting the requirements is important—but how you teach the material matters, too.

Erika brings a unique combination of graphic design, educational development, and bilingual communication skills to NJPestTraining.com. With a degree in Graphic Design and more than seven years of experience designing and developing educational materials, she has played an important role in making pesticide training information clear, visual, and accessible.

Her strong English and Spanish communication skills have allowed her to translate important pesticide training materials into Spanish, helping Spanish-speaking professionals better understand the information they need to work safely and successfully in the industry.

Erika has also completed the necessary training and certification to conduct practical pesticide training courses in Spanish. Her ability to explain technical material in a comfortable, easy-to-understand manner provides Spanish-speaking students with an opportunity to learn in their preferred language.



At NJPestTraining.com, Erika helps us expand our commitment to providing professional pesticide education to both English- and Spanish-speaking professionals.

Greg brings more than 40 years of experience in the pest control industry, beginning his career as a helper on a termite crew with Sentry Termite & Pest. Over the course of his career, he has worked with several well-known companies in the industry, including VW&R/Univar, Terminix, and JP McHale Pest Management.

Throughout his career, Greg has earned multiple state pesticide licenses, certifications, and professional training credentials, giving him extensive knowledge of both the technical and practical sides of pest management.

Today, Greg is semi-retired, but remains actively involved in the industry. In addition to teaching with NJPestTraining.com, he works as a consultant to pest control companies on technical, training, and safety issues. He also serves part-time as Technical Director for Sentry Termite & Pest, where he assists with special projects and provides guidance on complex technical matters.

Greg brings decades of real-world, hands-on pest control experience into the classroom, combining technical knowledge with the practical lessons learned over a career spent working in the field.



Greg lives in Northern New Jersey, where he enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Dominique brings more than 40 years of experience in Pest Control and Food Safety, working throughout the food and pharmaceutical industries in 17 countries.

Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive expertise in a wide range of food safety and pest management disciplines, including Food Defense Coordination, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), HACCP training, and Food Safety Standards and Audits.

Dominique has also made significant contributions to the industry throughout his career. He has:

• Presented 17 research papers at international congresses on pest control, food safety, and food defense.
• Published numerous articles in national magazines on pest control and related industry topics.
• Trained more than 10,000 professionals throughout the food manufacturing industry.



Dominique's commitment to excellence in pest management, food safety, compliance, and professional education has made training an important part of his career. He brings decades of practical, real-world experience into the classroom, helping professionals better understand not only industry standards and requirements, but how they apply in actual food and pharmaceutical environments.

Doug brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Green Industry to every class he teaches. A graduate of SUNY Cobleskill with a degree in Plant Sciences, Doug has spent more than 25 years in the turf and landscape industry, with extensive experience in sales, customer service, and professional education.

One of Doug’s favorite sayings is “Knowledge is power,” a philosophy that is reflected in his approach to teaching. He genuinely enjoys helping customers, clients, and industry professionals expand their knowledge and advance through education.

Doug continually works to keep his audiences engaged, informed, and up to date, incorporating current industry developments, innovative ideas, practical “tricks of the trade,” and cutting-edge information specifically relevant to turf, landscape, and the Green Industry.



His combination of formal education, decades of industry experience, and enthusiasm for teaching allows Doug to bring practical, real-world knowledge into the classroom that professionals can put to use in their everyday work.

Michael has joined NJPestTraining.com as our 7B Termite & Wood-Destroying Insect instructor, bringing more than 40 years of pest control industry experience to the classroom. For the past 13 years, Michael has been the owner of PestID in New Jersey.

Throughout his career, Michael has also been actively involved in advancing and representing the pest management industry. He has held numerous Board positions with the New Jersey Pest Management Association (NJPMA), including serving as President from 2008–2010.

Michael has represented the pest management industry at various New Jersey Senate and Assembly hearings, advocating on issues involving bed bugs, pest management, and industry-related legislation. He has also been involved with the New Jersey Green Industry Council, advocating for Green Industry interests in the state capital of Trenton.



Michael brings a unique combination of decades of hands-on pest management experience, business ownership, industry leadership, and regulatory involvement to NJPestTraining.com. His extensive background provides students with practical, real-world insight into termite and wood-destroying insect management that goes well beyond the textbook.

Meet the Two Mice

The Two Mice come to NJPestTraining.com courtesy of illustrator Peter Maloney, whose work includes a number of popular children’s books, including Redbird at Rockefeller Center and The Magic Hockey Stick, among others.

The Two Mice originally appeared in Peter’s ongoing Tip and Nub cartoons. One day, a hole appeared in the wall—and out came two mice. They quickly became regular characters, adding their own running commentary to the adventures of Tip and Nub. Some fans have even referred to them as “The Greek Chorus” of the cartoon.

Now, the Two Mice have found another hole in the wall—this time at NJPestTraining.com!

Look for them to make occasional appearances as they emerge from their hole to offer their own observations, commentary, and maybe even a little pest-management humor.
